ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

MARCH 10, 2011

7:15P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Ellen W. Abelson, Richard B.

                        Gorden and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board reviewed a notice from the State Department of Revenue granting

      the Board approval under M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8 to abate the FY 2009

      and FY 2010 taxes of two parcels now owned by the Town of Sharon.

2.   The Board reviewed a decision by the Appellate Tax Board for FY 2010 that

      was ruled in favor of the appellant.

3.   The Board granted abatements for FY 2009 for the following two properties:

            Parcel # 70-162

            Parcel # 24-98

4.   The Board granted FY 2010 abatements for the following properties:

            Parcel # 70-162

            Parcel # 24-98

            Parcel # 53-62

5.   The Board reviewed the final version of the FY 2010 EQV study for the Town

      of Sharon.

6.   The Board reviewed two warrant articles that our office will be sponsoring at

      this years Special Town Meeting. One will allow us to transfer FY 2010

      encumbered funds to pay for the FY 2014 revaluation. The other article will

      give the BOA the authority to extend our data re-inspection project an

      additional three years.

7.   The Board discussed the start of our data re-inspection project this coming

       Monday the 14^th of March.

8.   The Board granted an FY 2011 Clause 37 Blind exemption to the owner of

      Parcel # 101-27.

9.   The Board took the following actions on FY 2011 abatement applications for

      the owners of the following parcels:

            Parcel # 81-144        Granted

            Parcel # 62-32           Denied

            Parcel # 62-28           Denied

            Parcel # 80-42           Denied

            Parcel # 31-16           Granted

            Parcel # 61- 9            Denied

            Parcel # 112-143       Denied

            Parcel #  95-17          Granted

            Parcel # 125-75         Denied

10.   The Board decided to hold their next Board Meeting on Thursday,

        March 24, 2011 at 7:15P.M.
